Rubberized ThinkPads
December 29, 2007The rubberized ThinkPads bother me. I own one, a TP 600. All of the rubber stuff is coming off where it has been dropped or dinged. It’s annoying because underneath is metal, and the scratch shows up as a big silver gash in the rubber. Also, the edges (where the lid sits when it’s closed) is also worn away (from normal usage) also revealing the ugly silver layer beneath. These reliable (and pricy) machines should have come with a thicker layer of rubber, for durability and looks.

Socket A Survives!!!
December 23, 2007Ha Ha! My new computer (eBay, to broke to build from scratch) is a Socket A Athlon 850 MHz desktop. And what do I happen to have from a previous build still kicking around you ask? Well, obviously, an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ 1.53 GHz socket A processor! Thank god for the fact that I tore that build down when I was done with it.
Sorry
December 23, 2007To bad, My freakin page kept screwing up, as you could see, so I couldn’t finish it, I’m a web designer, not a web coder (I’m capable though, Right now JS is making me mad…) So I just deleted the blog and started fresh. Sorry about the missing posts! But you will notice that the page is completely fresh, with a google search box and a Post Search box and a really cool Your IP Adress is: widget.
News Inc. Cheers
December 22, 2007News Inc., owner of MySpace, is cheering (most likely). Yahoo!360* (http://360.yahoo.com) is closing, not even out of beta. Although the passioate few 360* users are disenhartened the vast majaority of users use myspace. But, it is a chance to gain a few extra users, although according to a recent blog post (http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-5nImV4YydKr0D6PKTyB7JRcgtvKD?p=3100) most people are switching to Multiply.com instead. Too bad 8-(
